From Mexican waves, t-shirt guns, confetti, kiss cams and fire works. It was evident that the long anticipated concert performed by Adele at the Gabba Stadium did not disappoint. Adele's incredible charisma and character put the whole of Brisbane under her spell with her unique laugh and breathtaking vocals. As the crowd anxiously waited in their seats; the atmosphere was filled with laughter, excitement and anticipation to witness the Goddess Adele's 3rd ever stadium concert in Australia. We were sweating more then we've ever sweat before but that didn't matter. We made it. The days of counting down till Adele was over. We had entered the gates of Adele Heaven.

Arriving close to 7pm, it was a slow hour of waiting until she finally graced us with her presence. And it was in that moment when the lights went down, the screens came up and the music started that we all knew. The roar of the crowd sent goosebumps all over my body. There she was. Costumed in a spectacular designer Zuhair Murad, shining like an Angel. Adele.
Every fibre in my body was instantly captivated from the first sound that came out of her mouth. "Hello..." is all it took to send a tsunami of shivers down my spine. She started with her infamous "Hello" from her current album "25", and ended the grand finale with the touching "Someone like you" from her unforgettable album "21". However it was not just her sensational voice that enchanted the audience, it was her wit, charm and entertaining conversations that she had with the crowd with made each and every member in the stadium feel like they were talking personally with her.
It was an unforgettable moment when she first spoke, immediately the crowd was filled with laughter as she told inappropriate jokes & laughed about her nervous swearing habit.
"What do you call a blonde standing on her head" she asked the crowd after giggling about hiding the joke on the back of a chair in seat 50 section C. " A brunette with bad breathe" she chuckled at her own humorous joke.

Not only was she bloody hilarious but Adele continued to relate with every audience member on a personal level. Especially when she mentioned she (and i quote) "had been sweating so much that it appeared as if she had just stepped out of the shower." Confessing to the audience that after her previous show the night before she had fans placed in 4 corners of her stage for tonights show. Which she then heiled her Queen B and laughed about having her "Beyoncé fans... then sing the notorious Crazy in Love melody of "Aw oh aw oh aw oh aw oh aw oh". It was a blessing to hear that she was secretly enjoying the Sunday show better then the Saturday night one, but then joked it was mainly due to the fans cooling her down which we all know was a lie 😏
With an 18 song line up (see full line up @ bottom of page) she managed to belt out a few of the crowds favourites such as "rolling in the deep", "rumour has it", "someone like you", "when we were young" and "chasing pavements", just to name a few. Each song had a unique video which played along side of her which was surprisingly nice to watch. Although those moments those videos and memories weren't playing on screen watching her facials while she performed was priceless. You could see the devotion and contentment on her face as she poured out of her heart her wise lyrics.

It was definitely an unforgettable moment when she pulled out "her little friend" which was her t-shirt gun which she shot out at 4 different sides of the stage. Those god damn lucky fans! Walkinf away with personally signed and perfumed sprayed shirts from the goddess herself. Along with the t-shirt gun was personally signed messages on confetti which was shot out during "rolling in the deep". Again damn those lucky fans who were able to snatch up some personally signed confetti. Of course, you can't have an amazing concert without a little bit of fire works which shot out the top of her stage during the memorable set of "set fire to the rain".
Oh and who could forget the moment she squealed at the top of her lungs due to a swarm of mosquitos coming to 'Kill her?' Thats right for a good 5 minutes we watched her run around the stage like an absolute lunatic because she was absolutely afraid of these mossys! I have to say, coming to this concert I knew that she had a voice of an angel, but a mouth like a bogan! And god damn did she! Every second word was Fuck. It was absolutely fucking brilliant. Safe to say if she ever migrated to Australia, she'd fit right bloody in with us!

I could honestly relive this concert over and over again until the rest of my days but of course the show must go on. I am completely in awe of every lavish moment Adele gave me. She was in the simplest form Perfection. Her voice, her presence, her conversations. It was perfection at its finest and a "had to be there" kind of moment. It is always such an overjoying feeling to see one of your favourite artists perform live for the first time, a feeling you'll never forget. Well I surely won't ever forget. After years of singing her songs and listening intently to her wise & intelligent lyrics. It was a truely breathtaking experience. If you weren't there you definitely missed out, if you did have the pleasure of seeing her live, I hope you bask in that moment for as long as possible, because I for one will be floating on cloud nine for the next 24 hours. So if you haven't seen her and you're going to see her, heres what you should expect:
TIPS !
1. Lots of Swearing; if you're a parent prepare to cover your child's ears because she hasn't got a filter and its absolutely amazing.
2. Incredible Sets; fireworks, smoke, confetti - the whole shabang is amazing!
3. Great conversations in between songs! Honestly She should start touring purely for stand up or something because she had the crowd in absolute hysterics.
4. Mexican waves - she loves Mexican waves ever since she started one at a spice girls concert in Wembley Stadium! So make her proud when she tells you to do the Mexican wave!
and last but not least 5. Expect to be blown off your seat and into bloody china because that was the most unforgettable experience i've had so far in my 20 years of existence.
